Tournament
With the announcement this Tournament Alpha-1 Management would like to clarify the significants of the event. No Alpha-1 Wrestler or Staff is close with or related to Randy Poffo or extended family. We at Alpha-1 are simply fans of Mr. Poffo & have been for years. This event is to honor a role model & public figure better known as "Macho Man" Randy Savage. With his recent passing a lot of wrestlers lost someone they look up to as a child or respected as a ground breaking trend setter in the professional wrestling world, as well as a pioneer, who's paved the way for a whole new breed & style of high risk, high flying wrestling.
Randy Poffo will be honored in this Tournament by Alpha-1 & it's talented Staff & Talent.
There will be interviews filmed to capture Alpha-1 Talents fondest memories of this Legend. There will be event shirts being sold & worn by all the Alpha-1 Staff to support this fundraiser as well.
Proceeds from the 2011 RPI will be donated to The Heart & Stroke Foundation. Please support a great cause & pay tribute to a Legend of Wrestling.
